Better Man Creative Team:

The Better Man advertising campaign was primarily created by Michael Barley, who has been part of the United Way Creative Team for many years, and Carol Henderson of Thought Ranch.

Thought Ranch

Thought Ranch is a core posse of three talented advertising and entertainment professionals who've been doing brands and entertainers proud for a good 12 years.

Additional pros are brought in as required by the job and the foremen. There are no full-time employees, unless you count my 81-year-old mom who cleans the office, which is located at 918 Piedra Vista Road NE in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87123. You can reach Thought Ranch by calling (505) 514-6126 or (505) 323-6096.

Carol Henderson, the most award-winning creative director who's not retired in the state, has worked and freelanced for some of the most respected ad agencies in the world, including Fallon, Carmichael Lynch, Martin Williams, GSDM and Bozell Worldwide. She recently left McKee Wallwork Henderson, the ad agency she helped found in New Mexico in 1998. Past national clients include Northwest Airlines, BMW, Jim Beam Brands, TIME, Horst/Aveda and Subway. Locally, she's done work for Presbyterian, High Desert, Blake's, Albuquerque Convention & Visitors Bureau, New Mexico Economic Development and, most recently for Thought Ranch, United Way's Betterman initiative and Sandia Casino's Jackpot Millionaire promotion. Carol is often mistaken for "I Love Lucy's" legendary sidekick, Ethel Mertz.

Peter Zavadil, raised in NM, is THE director of country music videos. His work has helped launched the careers of many of country music's hottest young stars including Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton and Sara Evans. A past Nashville Star judge, he has twice won the Country Music Association Video of the Year Award. To see Peter's videos, visit CMT.com (Country Music Television), blakeshelton.com, saraevans.com, dierksbentley.com or bradpaisley.com. His commercial work includes Wal-Mart, Forum Bank and Sandia Casino. Peter is often asked if that is his real hair.

Rebecca Elise, a producer extraordinaire, has wrangled clients and their budgets for over a decade and has never lost either one down the river. She has produced spots for Procter & Gamble, Archer Daniels Midland and Blue Cross Blue Shield as well as films and documentaries. Rebecca was the inspiration for the character of "Lola" in the hit song "Copacabana" by Barry Manilow.
